Bishop Eddie Long Had a 5th Accuser (No Wonder He Settled)

Bishop Eddie Long fought the good fight when allegations of sexual misconduct were lodged against him by four young male members of his church last year. Long vigorously denied any and all accusations of sexual misconduct, and he swore that he would clear his good name — that was before his fifth accuser came forward and changed everything.

Centino Kemp is his name, and with his cross-dressing, Rihanna wig wearing, flamboyant, fiercely gay persona — Kemp presented a major problem for the Long defense team.

According to FOX 5 Senior I-Team reporter Dale Russell, who broke the story of the 5th accuser, Kemp has Eddie Long’s name tattooed on his wrist. And that’s just the beginning.

The decision was made by Eddie Long’s attorneys to settle quickly, and push the entire sordid affair under the proverbial rug, with signed confidentiality agreements to ensure that whatever went on in Eddie Long’s bedroom would stay in Eddie Long’s bedroom.

For nearly two months, Russell searched all over Atlanta for Centino Kemp, and finally caught up with him leaving this small recording studio. He was happy to talk about his music. But he didn’t want to talk about anything else.

Though his name was never made public, the I-Team has learned he may have played a significant role in the mediation.

According to Russell, Kemp, who was raised in the Bahamas, met Long during a visit to Long’s New Birth Missionary Baptist church when he was a teenager attending a Florida college.

We will never know what transpired afterwards, but Kemp posed an immediate problem for Long when he showed up just before the settlement talks began earlier this year.

Sources say Kemp joined in the settlement talks after he heard about the other young men’s lawsuits and though he never sued, he became a part of the final settlement.

One lawyer familiar with the case confirmed Kemp was involved and was “different from the other young men,” “one piece of the puzzle that never fit,” and he made the case “more difficult.” Source
