 If ever there was cause for Child Services to get involved in a potentially harmful case, it would be in the case of a Canadian couple who plans to raise a unisex child. Original Story Found Here Kathy Witterick and David Stocker of Toronto, Canada have decided they will not divulge the gender of their infant child [to anyone] and will not allow society to assign one either. They have purposely kept the sex of the child secret citing their desire to allow him (or her) to decide who they will grow up and become. Kate has promised:
| "I will not give up the crusade against the tyranny of assigned gender roles...Everyone keeps asking us, 'When will this end?' and we always turn the question back. Yeah, when will this end? When will we live in a world where people can make choices to be whoever they are?" |
If anyone can't see how emotionally damaging this will be to this child then they are as blind as the parents. The child will purposely be kept from gravitating towards their natural proclivities and compeled to consider 'alternative lifestyles' or 'explore all the options' before being allowed to "make a choice". In essence what the parents are doing is denying the child his God-given right to be what God created him to be. It is a sad enough state of affairs when members of society insists they were created "in the wrong bodies" questioning the omnipotence of God. But these parents are purposely raising the child to experiment with homosexuality or bisexuality before making a decision. How sick is that?
