In one week's time, it seems this is the second installment of "cops gone bad" on Yolanda Ro Speaks Life. The month of June has been ladened with stories of corruption and police brutality occuring across the country. Just last week we posted the story of a Seattle cop punching a black girl in the face when she resisted arrest. But just prior to that, a Baltimore police officer, 36-year old Gahiji A. Tshamba, gunned down unarmed marine, Tyrone Brown, for "allegedly" inappropriately touching his [Tshamba] girlfriend's rear-end, in a club. The 15 year police veteran, who was off duty at the time, is said to have gunned Brown down outside the club in an alley. Tshamba eluded authorities for nearly a week but eventually turned himself in, and now faces first-degree murder charges which carries the death penalty.

As you can probably guess, there are differing views on this case. Some even see it as protecting and defending the honor of a woman. As horrendous as it is to be sexually assaulted, was the anger of the policeman justified? Or better yet, what would you have done?
Let us hear what you have to say readers.
